#08 – I’ve been accepted to 2 new affiliate programs!

Disclosure: The following links may contain affiliate links which I earn a small commission when you click and purchase from them. Thank you for your support!

Yeah, you heard that right. I’m officially in two new affiliate programs and I’m so happy that I’ve been accepted to the program with two products that I love! But first…

What is an affiliate program?

To start off, it’s not quite the same as the Twitch Affiliate program but they have similarities. However, I can explain the two differences at a later time.

An affiliate program by definition from Pat Flynn (an affiliate marketing pro):

Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

So to break it down, you help promote products that you enjoy (think Logitech G or DXRacer chairs), and then share your unique link to your audience, which then you’ll be able to earn a small portion of that sale if someone clicks the link & purchases it.

Simple, right? Now let’s get into these new programs I’ve been accepted in.

Novo Bank

What is Novo Bank? I’ve been searching for an online small business bank for the LONGEST time and it wasn’t until I was watching an AshniChrist video and she briefly mentions about a bank she partnered with. As soon as she mentioned it and looked into it a bit further, it had all the features that I’ve been looking for. I immediately signed up the next day, and got approved within that week!

Now this is all personal preference, but I’ve been trying to find a bank account that has a routing and account number, no min direct deposit, and accessible for me to separate my business funds to my personal one.

So if you’re tired of getting hit with Paypal fees for your Twitch payout, I would highly recommend signing up for Bank Novo if you want to keep your personal funds separate from your earning through Twitch or any other income source that’s not your day job.

It wasn’t until recently I decided to try and apply for their affiliate program after using their bank for a few months. And I honestly didn’t think I would get approved, but here I am now and sharing this to you all! So sign up and you’ll earn $25 to your account.

Canva

What is Canva? Canva is a great program that I would also recommend if you’re not a graphic designer. Think like Microsoft Paint but BETTER. So if you’re having trouble creating any type of image like your Twitch panels, your offline banner, or anything like that, you can easily do on this website.

You can sign up for free, but they do offer the Pro version which expands more of their features like more stock photos, more customization, and you can create your brand kit which you can make the settings default to your brand font and colors. So if you want to check out the Canva pricing, it’s absolutely free to use, but if you want to step up and invest ~$13/month for extra features, I would totally recommend it! There’s no sign-up bonus when you click on the link but I will guarantee this will make your life easier if you don’t want to hire a Fivver designer to make all of your image needs.

Other affiliate programs and referral programs

Now this isn’t the only program I have signed up for. There are several other products and programs I’ve joined in the past and I think you should too if you really want to diversify your income.

Ashnichrist ebook – Build Your Dream Stream

You hear me talk about her a lot in my blog, and that’s because she’s one of the few people that I trust to provide advice on Twitch streaming, business growth, and how you can do better as a content creator. If you don’t have time to watch all of her videos on her YouTube channel, then you should also read on Ashnichrist’s ebook, Build Your Dream Stream. It essentially covers the same content on her videos, but it goes a bit more in-depth.

This book has a step-by-step process on how to be a successful streamer. Her knowledge is so valuable to streamers and her own proven success was by growing her own YouTube channel, Twitch stream, and a streaming coach program. So if you’re more of a reader or just want to have a handy guide by your side, then grab this ebook.

Amazon

You already get a payout from Twitch, so you might as well join the Amazon Affiliate program too if you buy a ton of your equipment through there. I have a bunch of Amazon affiliate links to my Kit.co profile so I’ll leave links below if you want to check them out:

There are several other products that I highly recommend but I will save that for another time BUT you can check all the other stuff that I use through my Resources page.

I hope this post was a bit helpful for you and I hope you find success on your own journey as a content creator. We’re all in different stages of our lives and everyone can still learn from each other. Let me know if there’s any other useful affiliate programs or products that I should look into in the comments below!
