I. Can’t. Get. Enough. Of. This. Song. If you don’t know me, well then, you should know that one of my favorite video game series is the Kingdom Hearts series. It’s such a cheerful remix that I can’t help but listen to it a thousand times. The first time I watched this cinematic, I literally … Read more

Welcome to Jempanada’s 52 Game Review! Every week, I review a newly released game under $2 that can be easily downloaded from the App Store, Google Play store, or Sony store.

Hope everyone had an awesome Halloween! Didn’t do much, but I did have a fun weekend at the Playcrafting’s Halloween Expo! Playcrafting is a great community for people who love indie games, but doesn’t exclude developers. You’ll meet all types of people creating awesome app games, on console, or table-tops games.  They even have classes on different topics like how to market your game, develop a game through Unity, and how to create better storylines.

Speaking of Unity, this week’s game made by Unity from ImpactBlue Studios. A beautiful game called Polyforge. In the description it says, “Forge amazing crystals in a symphony of shapes, sound, and color.” Which is absolutely what it is.

Welcome to Jempanada’s 52 Game Review! Every week, I review a newly released game under $2 that can be easily downloaded from the App Store, Google Play store, or PS4 store.

This is going to be a short one, folks. I found another great Android and Apple find. After browsing last week’s game releases, ShadowBug Rush had intrigued me with the dark silhouette-figured characters and the beautiful paint-brushed background. This impressive yet simple little Unity game was developed by Muro Studios, a two-man studio from Finland.

Welcome to Jempanada’s 52 Game Review! Every week, I review a newly released game under $2 that can be easily downloaded from the App Store, Google Play store, or PS4 store.

I finally picked a game for all you Android users (and Apple too!) if you’re interested in downloading this game. It’s not an exciting puzzle or action game, but it’s definitely on the casual side. Like super casual. This week’s game that I managed to download is PewDiePie’s Tuber Simulator. If you’re a gamer, and you have no idea who PewDiePie is, then you have been living under rock or have just been born the other day. PewDiePie is one of the first Youtube Personalities to reach 1 million subscribers to his channel, gaining his popularity mostly with Let’s Play and vlog videos.

52 Game Reviews: 02 Let’s Bounce with One More Bounce

One More Bounce Title Screen

Welcome to Jempanada’s 52 Game Review! Every week, I review a newly released game under $2 that can be easily downloaded from the App Store, Google Play store, or PS4 store.

This week’s game is called One More Bounce, developed by SMG Studio. It’s another game that I found on the App Store which caught my attention with it’s very flat designs and interesting color scheme. The title itself explains itself (too much itself) very simply, so I was looking forward to seeing the mechanics on how I can keep this thing bouncing.

Swoopy Space Title Screen

Welcome to Jempanada’s 52 Game Review! Every week, I review a newly released game under $2 that can be easily downloaded from the App Store, Google Play store, or PS4 store.

The first game in honor of my new weekly series is Swoopy Space, from the developers of Umbrella Games & AppDemon. It was released on September 14th, but I saw it in the “New Games We Love” section of the App Store while browsing for something new for the week. What grabbed my attention is the cute, little, white, pixelated ball that’s grinning at you. I didn’t read much into but I immediately thought this would be a game I would enjoy.

Michonne Fights Her Demons and Walkers

One of The Walking Dead‘s fan favorite characters, Michonne, finally gets her own series in TellTale Games, The Walking Dead: Michonne.  Though Michonne is equally bad-ass in the comic and TV series, her character in the comic is slightly more reserved and complicated.  The 2-year gap in the comics left readers with questions about what happened in the development of Alexandria and with Michonne’s disappearance.  With this game, it fills in that gap with a glimpse of the hard-shelled Michonne fighting her demons and walkers.
